Brown-Wilson Group voluntarily complies with and supports the Online Privacy Principles and Guidelines of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA).
We also strictly adhere to the privacy policies of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (“CASRO”). Among other things, CASRO Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research states that market researchers will not harass or deceive the people whom they contact, and will not conduct surveys through surreptitious means. Finally, we adhere to both the ESOMAR / ICE International Code on Market and Social Research and the ESOMAR Research Code and Guidelines when Conducting Market and Opinion Research Using the Internet.

Purpose of Market Research Surveys
We perform market research surveys for the benefit of our clients, who include for-profit companies, non-profit organizations and governmental institutions. Our clients use the survey results for a variety of purposes. For example, survey results are used to better understand customer awareness, use, and preferences for various products and services. Other clients use the survey results to measure social attitudes and public opinion on political and social issues.
Survey Information Collection, Dissemination and Use
We combine survey responses in a given survey with the responses of all others who participate and report those combined responses to the client that commissioned the study. We will never intentionally report individual survey responses. The only exceptions to the foregoing rule are if (a) you explicitly consent to sharing identifying information and individual responses with our client, or (b) in accordance with CASRO guidelines, we provide survey responses to another market researcher for the purpose of conducting confidential, follow-up market research.
Confidentiality of Contact Information
In addition to keeping survey responses confidential, we will never sell, share, rent or otherwise intentionally transfer respondent name, address, telephone number or e-mail address to our clients, other market research companies, direct marketing companies or anyone else. The only exceptions to this rule arise when (a) you have won a sweepstakes we sponsored, in which case we may disclose the winner’s name, address and related information with the consent of the winner, or (b) we transfer your information to another market researcher for the purposes of confirming your participation in a particular research study or conducting confidential, follow-up market research.
